Announcing 2026 Medicare Advantage and Part D Commissions

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently announced the maximum 2026 commissions for Medicare Advantage (MA) and Medicare Part D plans. Agents will continue to see growth in compensation, with rates increasing by an average of 2.5% nationally for Contract Year 2026.

Medicare Advantage Commissions

In California, initial commissions have increased from $780 to $864 per member per year, a 10.8% increase. Renewal commissions rose from $390 to $432 per member per year, also a 10.8% increase.

Nationally, initial Medicare Advantage commissions have grown from $626 to $694 per member per year, reflecting a 10.9% increase, while renewal commissions increased from $313 to $347 per member per year, also a 10.9% increase.

Medicare Part D Commissions

For Medicare Part D, initial commissions have risen from $109 to $114 per member per year, a 4.6% increase, and renewal commissions have gone from $55 to $57 per member per year, a 3.6% increase.
